Blake Lively (Serena van der Woodsen) leaves the dressing room (trailer) in a pair of classic short sand UGG boots, and a black robe on the set of Gossip Girl last week. As anyone actually seen a pair of UGG boots on Gossip Girl? If so, please let me know which episode(s). We've had a number of photos from the set, but I've never seen them on the show, although I'm way behind in episodes.

Dakota Fanning, in UGG Coquette slippers, and Riley Keough, in Classic Short Chestnut UGGs, are shielded from the hot sun with an umbrella by an assistant. Their bodies may hot (excuse the pun), but I bet their feet are nice and cool. Excuse the pun again, but do you get it? Their feet look cool, and they're actually cool, because the sheepskin naturally keeps one's feet "cool" in warm weather.

I found these pictures on UGG Australia's website today, and I thought they were really nice. UGG Australia rarely has advertisements with the models in classic UGG boots. I would imagine they're trying to promote the other styles, since the classic UGGs are already immensely popular. But I wonder why none of the settings for their advertisements are in the city. They seem to always be in countryside. Hmm...

I know a lot of people feel that reality shows are scripted, but you can still learn a lot about human nature from them. Classic Cardy UGG Boots on 57th and 8th in Manhattan

Yesterday was my last day of teaching, so I went to the Dunkin' Donuts on 57th and 8th to get a latte for breakfast to celebrate, and I got a bonus prize. (I rarely go to Starbucks anymore. I just can't justify the price - even for a celebration.) As I walked in the door and the latte's aroma hit me, the site of these beautiful chestnut Classic Cardy UGGs hit me as well. It was one of the best mornings in my life!

I wouldn't recommend wearing UGG boots in the rain or snow, because they're not water proof; however, someone recently told me that they clean their UGG boots by washing them in the washing machine! They said the key to keeping their shape after washing them was to put the material that was in the UGGs when they were purchased back into the boots until they were dry. Try this at own risk!
