Guys you have got it all wrong. Yes those are Uggs. The word Ugg when refering to sheepskin boots has been around in Australia for about 70 years. In Australia it is a generic term for all footwear made of Australian Sheepksin. The fact that a particular company has gone and registered the term 'Ugg Australia' does not exclude other sheepskin boots from being 'Uggs'. The sad thing is 'Ugg Australia' manufacture their boots in China. The only genuine Australian Uggs, are those made by the many companies who manufacture them in Australia to this very day.
Thanks for the very helpful comment! Yeah, two appease both views on this matter, I've decided to put non-UGG Australia boots in quotes eg. "UGGs"
