This picture was taken on my return to New York City from Minnesota after spring break. (Don't ask me why I went to Minnesota for spring break!) I was standing in the Airport Security Checkpoint line (Is that what it's called?) when I spotted this lady in classic short pink UGGs. From the way her husband was dressed it looked like they were going to Hawaii. Now that's a spring break destination!

To do some sociology research, I watched a new reality show last night called NYC Prep. (I don't have cable, so I watched it on Youtube.) I know a lot of people feel that reality shows are scripted, but you can still learn a lot about human nature from them. The setting of the show is the Upper East Side, which is where these photo were taken of this girl in her plush classic tall chestnut UGG boots.

Classic Cardy UGG Boots on 57th and 8th in Manhattan

Yesterday was my last day of teaching, so I went to the Dunkin' Donuts on 57th and 8th to get a latte for breakfast to celebrate, and I got a bonus prize. (I rarely go to Starbucks anymore. I just can't justify the price - even for a celebration.) As I walked in the door and the latte's aroma hit me, the site of these beautiful chestnut Classic Cardy UGGs hit me as well. It was one of the best mornings in my life!

You Washed Your UGG Boots in the Washing Machine?

It rained a lot in Manhattan last week, but that didn't stop this lady from wearing her classic short chestnut UGGs to the art supply store on 57th. I wouldn't recommend wearing UGG boots in the rain or snow, because they're not water proof; however, someone recently told me that they clean their UGG boots by washing them in the washing machine! They said the key to keeping their shape after washing them was to put the material that was in the UGGs when they were purchased back into the boots until they were dry. Try this at own risk!
